The Rules of Bets of the Week

Welcome to my LPGA bets of the week column. I think there's a lack of information, and therefore market inefficiencies to capitalize, on betting odds. The odds are generally based on World Rankings, which leaves other factors to consider. Week by week, I will highlight those factors I'm using for each player I bet on to win it outright.
I'll use 25 units to allocate between five players a week. I'll select two favorites, two from the middle of the pack, and one sleeper.
I define favorites as players in the top 10 in odds to win the tournament. The Chase Group is 10th to 50th in odds, and the sleeper is anyone outside the top 50 in odds that week.
I'll post in the afternoon the day before the tournament, and write a review of the tournament at the end and what to fine-tune in the process for the following week. This gives the maximum amount of time to ensure players in the field are healthy, which is at higher risk given the pandemic.
For now on mybookie, there are only outright winners to be made. When and if other bets become available, I'll add input on those as well. The number of units available will remain constant week over week at 25.
I'll update Return on Investment, or ROI, in the weekly recap.
