It's the first major the LPGA Tour has played since the 2019 AIG Women's British Open as the tour heads to Royal Troon. It's most well-known for the par 3 8th postage stamp hole, but this week is likely to be most remembered for the heavy winds and downpour the players will be facing.

With that in mind, let's roll through the bets of the week. All odds can be viewed here.

Market Inefficiencies- Past Major Champion, Playing Well Coming into the Week

The Favorites

Inbee Park (+2000)

The Hall of Famer is making her return with her husband on the bag at Royal Troon. She may have the greatest motivation of all to win this week. Park is currently 12th in the Rolex World Rankings, the 6th highest of all South Koreans. For the 2016 Gold Medalist at the Olympics to get into the field in Japan, she'll need to be inside the top 4 at the cutoff point for the 2021 Olympics on June 28th. The majors provide the biggest opportunity to move up the rankings, and Park is the only player of the top 6 South Koreans to be playing at Royal Troon this week.

And with her putting and experience, there's no reason to disbelieve a fresh Park couldn't add an 8th major to her legendary career. She won this major in 2015 when it was the Ricoh Women's British Open. Her last start was a victory, back in February, at the ISPS Handa Women's Australian Open. Her first start of 2020, which may be a better indicator, was T2 at the Diamond Resort Tournament of Champions.

Bet: 7.5 units to win 150 units

Nasa Hataoka (+2200)

Nasa made her post COVID-19 stoppage debut at the Renaissance Club last week and finished T12. To start 2020, Hataoka knocked on the winner's circle door twice. She finished T2 at the Diamond Resort Tournament of Champions and solo 2nd place at the Gainbridge LPGA at Boca Rio.

She has missed the cut in her two previous appearances at the AIG Women's Open. However, Hataoka may have turned a corner in tackling golf in Scotland last week. She finished T59 in her only previous appearance at the Aberdeen Standard Investments Open. She's the 3rd highest-ranked player in the field by the world rankings and tied for 5th in odds.

Bet: 7.5 units to win 165 units

The Chase Group

Hannah Green (+4000)

A previous major champion coming off a T16 finish last week in her post-COVID-19 debut. As mentioned on The 9th Tee Podcast, she's been a significantly more confident player after taking home the 2019 KPMG Women's PGA Championship. She won again five events later at the Cambia Portland Classic and has rattled off four top 20 starts in her last five appearances, with the worst at T16 last week.

It takes a confidence level to take home a major championship. She also has confidence to turn to from going seven-under on the weekend at the 2019 AIG Women's Open, finishing T16.

Bet: 5 units to win 200 units

Anne van Dam (+7000)

The first repeat pick of The Paisley Par! She finished T22 last week. She's won five times on the Ladies European Tour, which has given the 2019 LPGA Tour rookie four previous appearances at the AIG Women's Open. Her best career finish on the LPGA Tour was in Scotland at the 2019 Aberdeen Standard Investments Ladies Scottish open of T6.

She's had plenty of experience at the first major of the 2020 season, with a career best finish of T39.

Bet: 2.5 units to win 175 units

Sleeper

In Gee Chun (+12500)

In Gee Chun has three victories under her belt. Two of them were majors, the US Women's Open in 2015, and the Evian Championship in 2016. Her last victory was in 2018. Give me that major experience with a player coming off a top 10 last week in Scotland.

Bet: 2.5 Units to win 312.5 units
